So i recently finished watching the anime Deathnote. If you dont know what its about, i'll be surprised seeing how everyone on this site seems to be connected to anime in some way. Anyway, its about a guy who finds this notebook that has the power to kill whoever name you write. So he decides to cull the human race and kill off all the criminals in the world, aiming to become the new world power/God. The series is really about him trying to evade the authorities, and his chief nemesis, the renowned detective L. Overall i would recommend this anime, as its quite entertaining with all kinds of twists and turns.
Now if you haven't seen beware, i will be spoiling a bit below this...
line.
__________spoiler zone.
Right, the anime seemed to take a turn for the worse and even out at the end. The real best part of the anime is the first season, where L is still alive. When L dies, they could have ended the Anime there. However, i probably would have been a bit upset that Light gets his way and becomes "God". Least to say, I didn't like Light all that much. Great character, but not one i wanted to see win hmhm. Well anyway, when they introduce L's replacements, two children who were raised in the same orphanage for super smart orphans who will become super detectives, the anime seemed to start to go down hill. Mello and Near, Near being the actual replacement, and basically just L and Mello being the hallow, more sinister genius. Mello starts out to be quite the hallow character with very little role in the second season, and actually seems to be forgotten about after his prime episode. Then, right when the character seems to have become a bit more respectable, he is killed off. So thats a bit irking. Though, the end of Deathnote is truely satisfying, and seems to even out the anime. Light is caught, and you get to seem him for once, exposed and weak with no contingency plan or escape. That was truly entertaining.
/end spoiler.
Right so now i need to find something else to watch...
Most of our doctors and police turned feral since they got exposed to a lot more radiation trying to save people. All that's left of the standard ghouls are guys who can pump gas and make a hamburger in 30 sec.
Ahh, i wouldn't worry about it, all you need is people who can pump gas and flip burgers anyway. I regret nothing! They should have had a place like vault 101 to take shelter in. (Your making me wanna play fallout again.)
I played Fallout 3 on PS3. Microsoft screwed us pretty good by blocking the dlc by throwing loads of cash at Bethesda. My roommate did trade it in with some other stuff for a dualshock 3 though
Heh, i played it on computer. I haven't played the dlc, which i can probably just torrent anyhow. I always wanted to have a ps3, but i never wanted to pay for it. Mostly for Killzone 3, i saw my friend play it and it looked amazing.
By the way, who got to keep the post-it Manhattan project? It should forever be hung in your room as a grave reminder of the consequences and effects of war.
I got to keep it I'm in the process of moving back into my parents' house, but it will eventually be up on my wall along with that ransom letter you guys left at my table and my ax badge.
Hahaha! Awesome! Yeah i still have my AX badge too, and i hung that picture i bought from you up too. Right next to my painting of an Apache Indian ambushing a covered wagon that I found at a garage sale for a dollar, heh. A fair exchange I say.
